Crazy Costumes on Frenchmen St., Zulu Parade on Canal St., Ferry Ride on the River, and Dancing in Jackson Square

Hulk Hogan was the king of Bacchus and an undefeated Patriots were playing the Superbowl. My sister luckily knew of a "Pink Flamingo" house party a block off St.Charles Ave, where the parade ran. So we were able to walk back and forth from the house to the parade to catch the beads and the final touchdown destroying the Patriots' record.
