One of the hardest hit areas- Gulfport,Mississippi was wiped away by tsunami waves from the Gulf during Hurricane Katrina. This used to be one of my weekend getaway spots, but there's barely anything left anymore.

This New Orleans suburb was one of the hardest hit areas. If it was not for the breach in the 17th St. Canal levee, the damage would have been nothing compared to this.
